Notes

Original Soundtrack for the Movie "Per Una Bara Piena Di Dollari" (1971, Demofilo Fidani) with Klaus Kinski (on cover). Both songs are sung by Marco Wolf.
  • This record has some mysteries. Both sides of the label report as arranger, orchestra conductor and on the second side - whose song is not included in the original soundtrack - also as composer Giorgio Simonelli. Now in the world of the movie & television there are two people known as Giorgio Simonelli 1) Giorgio Simonelli film director, who died in 1966. 2) Giorgio Simonelli, born in Vercelli in 1948, a well-known journalist in the field of film and television, writer of many books about these topics and university professor in radio and television journalism. Just to him are assigned the two tracks. However, this leaves me perplexed. The song of the spaghetti western (A) as well as all its soundtrack was composed by Coriolano Gori as Lallo Gori. In fact, the song of the film is signed by Giulia De Mutiis for lyrics with the music by De Paulis, one of the pseudo Gori used such as E. Winkel. So it seems strange, though possible that the conductor and arranger was not Gori himself but G. Simonelli. Finally, as in the record is written G. Simonelli and not Giorgio, it could be Giovanni Simonelli, screenwriter of many italian B-movies, spaghetti westerns included. Who knows? Who surely knows more than me, maybe might help?
